After ALife Ahead Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application After ALife Ahead(“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Luxloop LLC. The Application is an augmented reality application to accompany the installation by Pierre Huyghe during Skulptur Projekte Munster 2017.
WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?
Location Services and Camera Sensor data is enabled on the user’s mobile device to enable and move the camera for the Augmented Reality features.
The Application may access certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, your mobile operating system. This data is used to improve the Augmented Reality experience, and is not stored or transmitted. This data and any related personal information is not collected, stored, shared, transmitted, or disclosed by Luxloop LLC. Luxloop LLC does not collect additional unique identifiers or personal information using the After A Life Ahead application.
The After ALife Ahead is an application is built using the Unity game engine. The automatic collection of unique device identifiers and hardware statistics by the Unity game engine has been disabled. You can access the Unity privacy policy here: https://unity3d.com/legal/privacy-policy.
DATA COLLECTED FOR ANDROID ONLY:
The Android version of this application uses the Vuforia AR platform (PTC Inc.) After ALife Ahead uses Vuforia to provide accurate matching of virtual to physical device camera paramaters. As per the terms of Vuforia’s software license agreement:
1.1 Each end user consents to the collection, storage, and use by PTC and its affiliates and service providers of Statistics and, if applicable, Camera Views from the Software and the transfer of Statistics (and Camera Views if applicable) between PTC and its affiliates and service providers (which may be in the United States or in other countries), in each case for the purposes of (a) providing the Software and Services, (b) facilitating the provision of new products, updates, enhancements and other services, (c) improving the Software, the Services, and other products, services and technologies, and (c) providing new products, services or technologies customers of PTC or its affiliates; and
1.2. Each end user is advised of the hazards of using a camera based application while driving, walking, or otherwise by being distracted or disoriented from real world situations;
The Vuforia AR platform used in this app may may collect the following information (collectively “statistics”):
(i) Information about the end users’ devices such as:
a. Make, model and firmware version of the user’s device
b. Operating system name and version number of the user’s device
c. Camera profile version
(ii) Information about the Software used to create the Developer Application such as:
a. Vuforia API version
b. Vuforia license keys for mobile and digital eyewear licenses
c. Cloud Recognition client key for apps that utilize Cloud Recognition (This feature is not utilized by the After ALife Ahead application)
(iii) Information about the Developer Application and its use such as:
a. Application bundle ID
b. Application version, for tracking application upgrades
c. Application’s App Store ID recorded for Google Play Store
d. Initial application session timestamp, for the first time an app is launched after being installed on a device
e. Camera start and stop times. This is only recorded when the Vuforia app process is running.
f. Vuforia application process start / stop / resume timestamps
g. Recognition event timestamps
h. Log Data file configuration defines frequency and file size of the log file to be transmitted to PTC
i. Tracker state detected / tracking / lost timestamps
j. Target created / destroyed timestamps
k. Virtual button created / destroyed timestamps
l. Virtual button pressed / released timestamps
(iv) The IP address used by the end user’s device for the purpose of inferring the country / region of use (but not the exact location).
(v) Images submitted with Cloud Recognition queries in order to match image for a Recognition event (This feature is not utilized by the After ALife Aheads application).
HOW DOES THE APPLICATION COLLECT PRECISE REAL TIME LOCATION INFORMATION OF THE DEVICE AND HOW IS IT USED?
When you visit the mobile application, we use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location within the space to enable the spatial camera capabilities of the Augmented Reality functions in this application. Location information is only used in order to determine your position within the exhibition. Location data is not used if you are not at the location of the exhibition. We do not store, share or disclose your current location or location information with other users or partners.
If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should delete the mobile application from your phone as per standard app removal procedures. The Augmented Reality feature of this application will not work without access to precise Location Information.
DO THIRD PARTIES SEE AND/OR HAVE ACCESS TO INFORMATION OBTAINED BY THE APPLICATION?
The After ALife Aheads application is built using the Unity game engine(iOS and Android) and the Vuforia AR platform (Android Only). Data collection by the Unity game engine has been disabled. ou can access the Unity privacy policy here: https://unity3d.com/legal/privacy-policy. PTC Inc. is responsible for the storage of data collected by the Vuforia AR platform as outlined in the “What Data Do We Collect” section above.
After ALife Ahead does not store, share or disclose any additional personal information.
HOW TO OPT OUT
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

The After ALife Ahead application is built using the Unity game engine and Vuforia AR platform. Data collection by the Unity game engine has been disabled. You can access the Unity privacy policy here: https://unity3d.com/legal/privacy-policy. The Vuforia AR platform (PTC Inc.) collects Statistics which are listed in the "WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?" section of this privacy policy. Statistics collection by the Vuforia AR platform include the IP address of the user's device. No other personal information is collected by the Vuforia AR platform (PTC Inc.). The persistent identifier is collected for the purpose of inferring the country / region of use (but not the exact location of the user). The Statistics collected are used by the Vuforia AR platform (PTC Inc.) in the following ways: (a) to provide the Software and Services, (b) to improve and optimize the Software and Services for different hardware and software requirements on various consumer devices (commonly referred to as device fragmentation), (c) to facilitate the provision of new products, updates, enhancements, technologies, and other services, (d) to improve the Software, the Services, and other products, services and technologies of PTC or its affiliates, and for any business purpose if de-identified and/or anonymized.
